When we first started making belts, the design was a bit raw - built to break in as you wear it, and a little rough around the edges. This version of the Classic Belt is more refined. We're using a Hermann Oak English Bridle leather dyed to a perfect saddle tan color. It’s a medium-heavy 10-12oz weight. We pay special attention to the finish as we do on all our products. Made here in California, the strap is edged, burnished with beeswax, and finished with a traditional English point. We use a solid nickel center bar buckle that gets tumbled to subtly tarnish the nickel finish. It’s secured with two chicago screws.
