Pique is a textured knit fabric made famous by the classic Lacoste polo shirts. Customers choose Pique Polo for its neck and collar construction, and elevated fabric. Our Pique Polo is different from the classic Lacoste design due to the collar design. The classic Lacoste polo uses a standard thick ribbed collar sewn directly into the shirt body. Pique Polo features a neckband and collar, similar to a button-up shirt, but with a slimmer, more modern profile. At 230 g/sm, grams per square meter, Pique is a midweight polo. Pique Polo uses two finer (thinner) yarns twisted together. In contrast, most polos are knitted with one thicker yarn.
